Skopelos is home to many stunning beaches with crystal clear waters and picturesque backdrops of pine trees. A trio of family favourites accessible by road include Limnonari, Stafylos and Panormos – with local restaurants that allow you to spend entire days in the sunshine. Other beaches include Milia and of course, Kastani Beach made famous by the movie ‘Mamma Mia’.
One of the nicest ways to enjoy the beaches around the island is to charter a boat. Hovolo and Ftelia/Neraki are pristine quiet beaches with Panormos offering an idyllic lunch spot in the shelter of the Bay.

Excellent for snorkelling, kayaking or paddle boarding with a large stretch of open water. The restaurant at the top of the stairway is wonderful and a favoured place to eat. Velanio Beach is a secluded and picturesque beach accessed via a short hike, which adds to the sense of privacy and seclusion. Very much a hidden gem away from the busier stretches of beach front.
Crystal clear turquoise waters stretch along a pebbled beach. Panormos Bay is truly beautiful with many different restaurants to choose.
